Google is Testing Pink Adwords Background

I have been receiving many emails and phone calls from my PPC clients regarding the huge fluctuation in their daily ad impressions and clicks but there is absolutely no change in the ads or keywords. Fluctuations are quite normal but this time it is because of the new background color Google is testing. In the past, Google have already tested many background colors for their top sponsored advertisers but this time they are testing pink to gain more attention of searchers.

Google Adwords Strategy Builders say that people don’t give proper attention to the sponsored listings when they become used to see the same color over a long period of time. That is why Google is testing new colors to attract visitors towards their ads. It is observed that the reaction of searchers towards the change of Adwords background color is almost the same as it was when Google changed the color from Blue to Yellow.

IT Student asked a question from Google Adwords Staff “Why don’t they set Adwords background White?”

I was really surprised to have the answer that that would be injustice with all other organic listings. That means Google takes good care of websites those are ranked organically.


SEO is Not for Every Type of Business

SEO is not equally beneficial for all type of businesses. Many SEO Consultants mislead their clients and show them green gardens just to charge them an excessive price. Businessman should understand the nature of their business before they acquire consulting services from management or even from internet marketing experts. There are many fake SEO Consultants who claim that they can get their clients to the peak of their business. Yes it is true that if your business falls in the domain of internet businesses, SEO Consultants can get you the top results. But there are many businesses those can never be optimized by just executing internet marketing operations.

For Example:

New Verizon™ Phone Resellers will not get much benefit from internet marketing because people are well aware of New Verizon™ and can easily access Verizon™ Website and make a direct purchase online. In this type of case, people prefer to directly access www.verizon.com rather running a query on search engine for keyword “Verizon”. So if you are dealing in high equity brands then make sure you are not in need of SEO Consulting Services but other marketing solutions like DM, PPC, SMM, and Paper Media can help you making more revenue but still that depends on the nature of your businesses.

So make sure while choosing a marketing expert that the company or the consultant is leading you to a right direction and not just hungry of money. I always tell my clients that Good SEO Consultants don’t always say “YES”. They also say NO to clients but they give a proper justification of any refusal.

Difference Between No-Follow and Do -Follow Links

Back-Links have great importance in ranking a website on search engines. But SEO Consultants took it in a wrong direction and started messing forums, blogs and other channels by posting their links. And they also caused a change in search engine algorithms because they were creating problems for search engines to identify the best result for the query. Google and other search engines finally got a solution to prevent ranking of real sites from damaging. They introduced another HTML Attribute for the site owners who don’t want their websites to be used for Search Engine Optimization Purpose. That HTML Attribute helped a lot in stopping SEO Consultants from posting their links or spamming on their sites.

Now the links are divided into two big categories:

  1. No Follow
  2. Do Follow

 

No-Follow Links:

Nofollow is an HTML Attribute value used to tell search engines that the link should not influence the search engine ranking of the link that was posted in. That means if links are marked with nofollow attribute value, those links will not be considered by search engines bots but will be reflected to the users as a hyperlink. A common example of declaring no-follow links is as followed:

<a href=”http://www.seoconsultant.net/” rel=”nofollow”>SEO Consulting Services</a>

Though, no-follow links are worthless for search engines but they can be a big source of routing organic customers to your site. SEO Consultants who don’t work for people but search engines, they don’t participate in discussions on websites those don’t allow do-follow links but Consultants who work people, not for search engines; they do post their links on no-follow websites because they understand that NO-Follow links are equally important.
